2007 TD4 HSE Manual LHD.

Can't find this using search but sorry if asked before.

Noticed my reverse lights seem to have failed.

Checked bulbs and fuse.

Had this problem on other cars and there is usually a switch and connector in the side/top of the gearbox.

If this is the case, can anybody tell me where it is and how best to reach it to check/replace it - a picture or diagram would help.

I think the problem is resolving itself.

The reversing lights are now coming on and the wing mirrors are dipping, albeit reluctantly.

I suspect there may have been ice somewhere in the system and today's temperature of +5 is causing it to melt.

Not had it in previous years but maybe this year it is "the wrong kind of ice".
