FL2 on its holidays

My FL2 was treated to a week in Devon last week and it was the first proper outing the car has had since I have owned it. Thought I would share some of the photos!

First one is where we stayed, got quite a few people looking at it! Even had someone ask if they could have a closer look at it (perhaps they dont have FL2's in Devon???) Very Happy

Next up she is parked up by the sea, RImini Red looks stunning when the sun is shining on her!

Another shot this time with the sea in view

The next couple are taken on a coast road leading out of Lynton / Lynmouth in North Devon, its a very steep climb but the FL2 managed it with ease!

As you can see, you wouldnt want to be going off road here, I dont think the hill descent control would be very effective here!!

Only drawback of the holiday was the passenger side mirror having an arguement with a dry stone wall, got stuck in a narrow lane with a bloody caravaner Evil or Very Mad coming the other way who wouldnt wait for me to reach the next passing point Censored so had to squeeze through the tightest gap, unfortunately scraping the body coloured wing mirror cap taking the paint off in two places. Big Cry Big Cry Anyone know if T-Cut will work or perhaps a touch up pen? Or am I best just buying a new mirror cap? Can you buy them individually??

They probably asked to have a closer look at it to try to see where the mule/horse traces go.......

He probably tried to stop but his brakes had over-heated and failed, so he just carried on as normal pretending you got in his way. I bet he was mumbling something about 4x4's ruining the environment as he dragged his c Censored van over hill and dale.

waits for the vaners response

Leave the mirror as a battle scar Thumbs Up A war wound in the normals vs vaners civil war Laughing

I would look at a local mobile smart repair company i bet they would not charge much for the mirror repair.

Sounds like the caravaner was a complete T Censored T
