Vredestein Wintrac 4 extreme winter boots

This is 3rd season and still 6.5mm. Quieter than summer continentals and no difference in MPG. In the wet these stick like S*** to a blanket and in the one snowy winter we had two years ago they were amazing. Only 'downside' is that they shift so much water my rear wiper is on constantly to keep rear window clear.

They are Michelin Latitude Cross, not the cheapest of tyres but so so far on and off road they have been very good.

Yokohama W.Drive 235/65/17, bought from a forum member last year and doing well.

Managed to get up and down slopes like this (Grin Low park, Derbyshire) without breaking traction, 2" of compacted snow and ice.

Its much steeper in reality, this photo makes it look easy. I got out to take the photo and immediately fell over and slid about 15ft down the hill!

Just wondered for when I need new ones, does that type of tread pattern create much road noise/rumble coming into the car??

I had 100% road tyres on it and th bf isn't much louder. I was surprised at how good the road handling is with them. Up to 75mph they are ok, but over you know you have all terrains on but not a huge difference.

General Grabber AT's been on a while now, brilliant, good ride, no noticeable difference with MPG and fairly quiet on the road.
