Since having my '59 TD4.E XS serviced in September, my Sat Nav displays the warning 'DVD check in process', and then displays 'Unable to read data. Check if map DVD is correct'. I've removed and inserted the DVD, which is spotlessly clean. I've also run a laser cleaning disc. I've also checked the connectors to the DVD unit. With the disk removed, the display warns there is no disc, so there's life in the DVD unit. Intermittently the map will display properly, then resort to the first warning message.

I've done some searching and found a note about aerial connection, and also poor laser performance, but can't find these now.

If anyone has experienced similar problems and found a solution, I'd be very pleased to hear.
