United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red
Dead Electrics

Hi all

My wife has had a few electrical problems with her FL2 mainly with the radio either not switching off or switching on all by itself when the car is unlocked.

Although this is annoying it is not too serious but tonight she stalled the car and when she tried to start it all the electrics went off and the car would not start.
The key fob would not even come out of the slot.

She turned lights off, radio but still nothing.

Eventually dashboard lights came back on and she took out the fob, put it back in and it started

Any ideas please.

Steve

Check all the connectors around the fuse box in the passenger footwell. They've been known to come loose and have intermittent connection causing similar symptoms.
