Latest update - still in the garage in a million pieces according to my man! Reckons that the fix we planned might be too much for the one remaining (original) cylinder which is also showing signs of age, now that needs to be replaced too.

Sounds a good deal to me. I had a clutch, pressure plate and slave cylinder replaced last year by a good indie and the bill came to £690. They said that the DMF was OK (saved me about £400). This included 6 hours work. I wonder if your cash in hand job saved the vat? |

could well be - he's a mate from the pub / rugby club too and I've always pointed folk in his direction so I think he's been returning the favour a bit!

I love using cash if the deals right! My Indy fitted me new pads, he uses pagid. Told me to keep away from mintex as he didn't rate them. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.
