United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red
Another facelift completed.........

I think I'm about there with facelifting the wife's car, it has had the windows tinted since taking this picture which has enhanced her further (the car not the wife!).

Apart form the norm the only other things I had done were to get the grill surround painted piano black and the tow / recovery cover finished in matt black (as per 2014 models).

Might get some more pictures taken when it's clean and decent weather, still not sure if the middle part of the grill is too bright as it is the standard pre 2014 SDVC silver, it might of been better with the TDVC shade been set within the black outer.

Iain.

The bumper was in '2010 metallic blue' according to the advert, so may have been Buckingham blue? It was duly painted with all the other parts (spoiler, tailgate handle, wing mirrors, door handles, grill, tow cover, door + rear bumper lower trims) for the very reasonable price of £350, that's what I call a bargain Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4_e S Manual Santorini Black

Looks great Iain Thumbs Up Love the red and definitely dosn't look like a 2007 car! Have you updated the back too?

I did the same to my 2011 car. Looks identical to a 2014 car now and should look fresh for a good few years. Very Happy MY11 Freelander 2 TD4 S, Santorini Black, Almond Cloth, Full MY 2013 facelift, Factory Privacy Glass, Clear View Pack, Folding Mirrors, Rear Parking Sensors, LR 19" DogLeg Alloys, and lots of other stuff!

Rear done with the exception of the rear lights. I'll wait until some LED lights come up cheap. It's funny but I thought the original 2007 rear lights were quite good looking, but the car looks 'odd' to those that know what a true 2014 vehicle should look like.

Close up of grill finish with lights for anyone contemplating something similar.
