If you know someone planning a trip out here please warn them. This happens a lot and it is always foreign backpackers who are the victims. My condolences to the young girls family.

The details are sketchy but the area is famous for backpacker 20 somethings renting four wheel drives, flipping them over and killing themselves. This one was different in that it was an organised tour apparently. Still, 8 people in a Landcruiser is pretty crowded. The poor girl was probably an innocent passenger.

Sounds that way, very sad for someone to lose their life whilst having a trip of a lifetime be that here or anywhere Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
