I thought I would upload a couple of pictures in case anyone was considering spraying their front grill, I feel the beige colour mKes the car look dated so I changed the lettering to black and sprayed the grill

I also have upgraded the lights as well and added the lower spoiler 2011 black FL2

Were the mud is thicker, and the ruts are deeper.
(And we have the water to wash it off, and more on the way..! )

Already did the black grill & the black lettering (but spaced it out a little more)
Also added the MY14 fog surrounds & grill outer chrome trim.
Agree, many of these mods do bring it up to date.  FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

I had a quick look at your pics, looks like you upgraded the grill to the 2013 model, how did you get one of those without a whole new bumper? How much did it cost?

I went gloss black lettering, hope you hated removing the glue as much as I did! 2011 black FL2

My grill is just the standard one that came with the car.

Sticky residue wan't too much of a problem - preheated the letters [lifts most of the sticky stuff off] then used meths to remove the residue.
But as I spaced the letters out a little more the ghosting of the old letters was a bit more difficult to remove [especially as the new black letters were added]. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-
