Very interesting. It's a bit like that with D4's here now; despite adding 6,000 miles to the 12,900 miles it had when I bought it nearly 2 1/2 months ago and it being (nominally) another year older, the trade value of it is higher now than it was then! I hope your friend finds what he's looking for

1 Build quality issues
2 Overpriced.
3 Load space unusable (not flat)
4 Why would you want to fill your car with even more children.
5 Some interesting alternatives just around the corner from Skoda maybe
6 Wait for next Defender
7 DS thread may not get your humour
8 We will miss you
9 Divorcee as Wife will think you have money

Apart from the fact I am not in the running for a new car "Pensioner & all that", I have found the DS underwhelming to say the least. Having ridden in a Halewood demo, and later having a loaner, TBH, I preferred the Ewok  10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Is it really over priced ? try pricing other cars up to similar spec,, kia is £40500, kia will probably discount strongly but still. vw audi bmw all shake of similar. even nissan are up there.

Nfu discount is a bit of a red herring, using it excludes you from other incentives so its in one hand out of the next, still worth doing but the gloss has gone. little negotiation is possible once you play the nfu card its a fixed scheme.

And in these brexit days atleast the LR is British built.

Unfortunately I did and stopped counting at 12 issues then I sold it
