GJH, as Nick said a tighter crop, lose the 'clutter' it will then have much more impact. Also, it will do your pics justice to use Flickr and link them, the compression algorithms the forum uses destroys the clarity of the pictures.

Keep an eye out on here, we may have a Lake District togging day again soon

Along with a tighter crop, i would suggest that you try and get down on the ground, at the riders level, this was taken on Grinton Moor, as that little French Cycle Race went past.

Nice shot that Toeknee that TDF -9.
I like to colour coordinate my means of transport so you caught me on my Ducati yellow push bike leading the field with my new go faster sunglasses. Grand.

But on a serious note - how the heck do you take such well defined photographs. Maybe I should buy a camera kit etc.. So my question is what would you recommend for an owd man to buy to take the first step on the road to photography


Note: I would only be interested in capturing landscapes.
