My son's FL2 this morning, you should see the outside. I am thinking of giving him a doormat for when he gets out of the car to keep the drive clean.

What a great looking car! Well done the geezers and gals who penned the lines of the Freely2.
Sad to say can't work up much enthusiasm for the DS bling box.

First dent

Some Censored who should have a car with rubber doors has dented my car and disappeared, ignorant gits some people.

So a quick call to my mate and he pops round with his box of tricks and all is well, amazing what you can do with a hot melt glue gun, some plastic pads and a little skill Whistle

Well that's a bummer ......

.... but what a great repair. Thumbs Up

Got no idea that repair you described was available, what's the process and what's it called. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

He has his own business and services the local garages with his Paintless Dent Removal, he thought the inside of the wing was double skinned and decided to do the work externally.

It involved prepping the surface, ie stripping any wax off, he then applied hot melt glue to a plastic pad device and stuck it too the dent, allowed the glue to harden, attached a "pulling device" to the plastic pad and gently pumped the device then pulled off the plastic pad to have a look, a few taps with a wooden rod to flatten any high spots and voila!

He did point out that if the panel had been sprayed there is a chance that the paint will come off Shocked

He says there is still a tiny crease but I'll be blowed if I can find it, so I applied a couple of coats of Jett and she's as good as new. Thumbs Up

That looks great results from a simple method, only every seen it were they weld on to the panel, not glue

Need to get mine cleaned, it's covered in salt from snow when I was coming over Glencoe on Tuesday and it's covered in mud from yesterday's biking in the North York Moors.
