FL2 - conversion for Spanish matriculation

I'm planing on taking a UK Freelander 2 TD4 2.2l GS (2007) to Spain and registering it there. Not going to bother converting it to LHD, but wondered if anyone had advice on changing / needing to change:
- the headlights
- rear lighting clusters
Thanks.

Just buy a set of LHD headlamps. Why do you need to change the rear lamps? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

I'll buy the LHD headlights off fleabay, anything car related in Spain is expensive. Rear light cluster will be ok if there are twin sets of fog and reverse lights - are there one of each left and right (haven't got the car yet)?

If it's like France, and have halogen lights you may get away with just moving the lever behind the lights for 'Continental Driving'.

I changed the dip pattern on my Jaguar by reversing the plate that defines the beam pattern inside the light unit, cheaper than £600 for a new pair of headlights.

Plus one in each of the lamp clusters.

Have you checked that you can register a RHD car in Spain? In some EU countries it is not permitted even though an EU directive says they should. driving on the right side

Lots of RHD cars on Spanish plates, give your car the biggest once over ever as parts are expensive over here as is the engine and trans oil. You'll need to replace your air and pollen filters at least twice a year as it is also very dusty, might be a good idea to check brakes (discs and pads) and get them done in Blighty. Note loads of shops sell car parts, wiper blades and bulbs etc BUT a lot of these are made in China. There are reputable people over here that will help you change your reg so keep all of your receipts ref the car purchase as you might get taxed? They normally give you six months before you have to change your reg, you may also have to check if your UK car insurance will cover you for that period. ENJOY we did and still do.
