Hi all just joined forum after buying fl2 10 plate full service history 1 owner 79000 mile sourcing an egr blanking plate but seems to run fine ,seems like luxury after 21/4 110 and used cruise control first trip out Thumbs Up looking forward to traveling in it rooftop

Spent loads on 110 but I think I can overland in the fl2 with a few mods just as well time will tell

Miss it now but wasn't going to get used enough gone to a good home

Iam sampling my home brew , proper falling down water
I use my fl2 off road it performs ok
Ground clearance only problem 2008 xs

Hello!
Just like to introduce myself on here before posting anything. I bought a 2008 FL2 HSE a few weeks ago with 82k on it. Seems rather good, if a little more thirsty than the Qashqai it replaced (2.0, CVT 4WD petrol). We have a very steep hill leading to our house which is a nightmare in the snow (what snow?????) so a decent 4wd is almost a must if we want to get home.
These FL2s seem to be about the same size as the original, Mk1, Range Rover, and still as comfortable! Bit more complicated though.

Hi everyone! I'm not yet an owner but after years of wanting one I'm scouring the ads for the right vehicle. Unfortunately I've only got a limited budget so am looking at higher mileage vehicles (Freelander 2 57/58 plate) , the current favourite has 159k on the clock. Is there a thread where I can get info buying older vehicles then I don't make a costly mistake! Thx in advance ☺️

That's a nice early 110. Mine was also an A reg with a 2 1/4 petrol which I replaced with a 2.5 when it died. I wish I still had it at times, but for the last year I had it I only put 1000 miles on it. Previous years it was doing silly miles up and down the motorway from Swindon to Helston. I can't afford to do do that now.
