Hi guys and girls, just thought I say how good it is to see a forum just for the freelander 2. Just got my hands on a 58-plate FL2 SE within the last couple of days and so far so good I love it! Very Happy Not new to the Land Rover scene as used to own an N-plate 3.9 V8 Discovery until it died prematurely almost 7 years ago Crying or Very sad

Looking forward to seeing what I can learn from this site Smile

Hello everyone

This looks a friendly site, I'm looking forward to getting involved.

I currently have a Discovery 2 as the weekend car and a Volvo V40 to do the day to day stuff, but the D2 ended up doing more miles! They are both on their way and the Freelander arrives next week!

I'll miss both of them, but am really looking forward to the new motor and some great adventures

PS - If anyone is on D2BC, I'm Bibendum on there too.

Morning Everyone,

Just about to take delivery of a 2014 SD4 Dynamic, which I'm looking forward to. Had a 2004 TD5 previously which sadly had to let go and managed to persuade my lovely wife that we needed one..so hey presto.

Have an Aygo for the station run, but don't tell anyone!!!

hello!

Have just purchased a stornoway grey 07 HSE with 62k miles.

Lovely car with ivory leather interior and all really immaculate. Has two issues that hopefully the dealer is sorting out for me, a seeping rear dif and an AFS warning light. I don't think either are too major but will be good to get them sorted.

Hello!

I've just bought my 3rd Freelander 2 after just over a year of driving other stuff. It's a 63 plate MY14 HSE SD4 in Santorini. Had an order down for a new DS with the Ingenium engine but the lead times, crazy delivery delays and recalls put me off. So plan is to keep the FL2 for 2 years and then maybe pick up a DS then. Very pleased with it so far.
