Those Nokian tires look great, but with brand new tires on the car I think I might opt to buy winter tires instead of an all season. Have any Canadians looked at buying steel wheels and winter rubber?

I didn't think it would save me any money. I was looking for increased traction in cold winter conditions. But why buy all season tires for winter driving? Why not buy winter tires for winter and keep the summer tires for summer? |

I have winter tires for my smart so I'm familiar with the downsides and upsides. I don't mind using a little more fuel for increased safety.
