England 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Santorini Black

Hope you are really happy in your new abode after recovering from all the work of moving.
We moved to a new build bungalow last October, took a lot of finding but worth effort, still have stuff in boxes though. FL2 SD4 Metropolis Auto Santorini Black / ivory completely stock.

It's true that light travels faster than sound, some people look quite intelligent until you hear them speak.

Stop global winging.

Great house ! A "proper" size garage for a Land Rover and plenty of parking for many more on the driveway. mole

That's the problem with garages and driveways. The sudden urge to buy that Lightweight you've always fancied, or add to the FR2 collection... Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

Only one that I know of, from Ravenside roundabout so a way East from you as you say. Not sure it will make much difference unless you travel to Hastings everyday in rush hour on the 259.
Hope it all goes well. Thumbs Up

Aero thanks for the heads up, no doubt if it has any affect on the purchase our solicitor will highlight it, but as i said from Magpie close little common it is far enough away not to worry. A good sign is when everyone is trying to sell and for sale boards are up everywhere, this is not the case in this instant, this house is the only one up for sale and that is only due to family reasons which would not be right for me to mention here.

We used to live that distance for the toll road in the midlands without any noise worry. Rush hours have been a thing of the past for at least 21 years as i owned my own boarding kennel establishment, so the only rush hour was to roll out of bed get ready for the days work and toddle across my orchard to the kennels. Suppose that could constitute a rush one minute or less.

This place we are buying is our retirement home so he most rushing about will be making tea/coffee ever so often and kicking the wife( oops meant the dog) out the door in the morning. Having worked since I was 15 years old and never out of a job at the age of 69 I think I/we deserve some time to ourselves Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner

Enjoy your new house/retirement. That garage set up looks ideal. I could even get my boat in there and not far from the sea. You have got me thinking. - 2007(57) XS Auto, Rimini Red, Alpaca Leather.

thanks both of you, the house only went on the market a couple of days before we grabbed it. if looking for a house on rightmove by the time it is posted on there we found it had already been sold direct via the agent. as regards to the back part of the garage I was thinking, if big enough, to make into a small photographic studio as photography is my serious hobby. maybe earn a little spare cash on the way. Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner
