starting issue....help please

Swmbo into car this morning (I'm already at work 25miles away).

Opened up key fob into slot press start just a ticking noise few lights up and "transmission" error?? Can't diagnose properly but my initial thought is battery??

Issue sound familiar to anyone??

Just got home and jump started ok so now going for a drive to see if she'll take a decent charge??

Assume this is related?? Electric seats now don't work?? Where would the fuse be please??

You mean seats not heating or not moving? If battery low or alternator not charging fully then heated seats won't work. Movement of seats is fifth fuse across from left on bottom row (5a) 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

Thx for the replies......

Took her for a drive.... Rear wiper didn't work.....

Battery seems to have taken the charge ok. Started up again and seats and wiper now work so I guess it's reset its self

We'll see in the morning if the battery has kept the charge, if not, I'll peruse Tayna batteries Yawn Tony....... tt's little tiger http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic20905.html

Did read on here last night also could have been bluetooth on draining the battery and guess what SWMBO was on her phone as she parked up the previous day..... So who knows???

Strange..... Will go check battery voltage when light but fingers crossed she stays good
