Gliding

Had a trip to Sutton Bank last weekend to visit the Sutton Bank Gliding Club.

We bought my dad and voucher to gain entry to the mile high club.

You should have seen his face Very Happy until we told him it was a different club, one in a plane with no engines Laughing

This is him taking off, but the flight was called off, due to low cloud and bad visibility

I once had a student glider pilot who downed a can of diet coke, before throwing the empty can out through the DV panel in the canopy. Shocked I don't know who was more shocked, me, or the poor soul who wondered where in God's name the empty can had come from when it landed close to them.
