United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Biscay Blue
Drivers off road handbook

The normal manual says to consult the off road drivers handbook if intending to go off road but I am unable to locate it. Can anyone give me a working link to it? I have tried searching for it.

The freelander 1 book used to give wading depth etc in the owners handbook but the freelander 2's is lacking in this. Can anyone help please.

Use of engine for braking

I never knew the Freely had low range. How do I engage it? Or do I just not use the engine for braking? Laughing

France 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Narvik Black

A particularly annoying side of "generic" handbooks which fail to take into account model level differences and in this case even complete car differences!

My handbook tells me that the headlights can be altered to LHD by moving a lever but fails to mention that it only refers to xenon lamps! I spent ages taking the headlights out and looking for the levers! Banging Head John
