Each person is entitled to their own view on such a petition, and whilst one might drum up extra signatures, one can put their objection up also.

I can assume that Althestan has his reasons, just like you have yours so lets not get this off track and personal in the replies.

on a side note: I haven't signed it either, not because I don't agree or disagree, but due to the fact the last petition i signed for that website, i got bombarded with further emails for various other petitions i had absolutely no interest in.

Traffic messes up green lanes terriblly as often people dont have the sense to avoid them in wet times. a full survey would need doing to ascertain which lanes could be trafficked and which closed.
Until then its a remain closed from me, but I would like to see some opened up. if not just so infirm or disabled folk can get a trip up the hills and dales
opening them so the fat tyres and snorkels brigade can have a jolly isnt really feasible.
