It will require painting, fitting it is easy peasy. But you'll need stainless fixings to stop the supplied ones rusting.

Hope this helps. If you search, 'powerful uk spoiler' there's a fair few threads.

For me it always has to be OEM, I know it's dearer and probably makes no difference but it's just the way I am, all of my LRs have been treated the same.

It looks a good enough spoiler but the fact the fixings aren't suitable for wet weather is enough to put me off.

You've got an HSE Lux no point skimping now. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

Little bit of deja vu here Mav, thought we covered this on the last post .........

I don't think you can tell the difference once it's in place, it has a nice fit to it Thumbs Up
I also went down the stainless fixing route as I found the fixings powerfuluk send with the spoiler started to rust

I have the powerful UK spoiler on my car - it's the only things that I've fitted that is not OEM.

I had my local LR independent spray it for me and even they said you can't tell any difference.

I have also just had a powerfuluk one fitted and I can't see any difference from oem.
I would say the important part with the spoiler is the quality of the paint job.

Had one fitted as part of recent upgrade. As Terrible1 says, its down to the paint job. You wouldn't know mine from LR factory fit TD4 HSE in Stornoway Grey. Supposed to have DAB but it ain't.......

What do you mean, not suitable for wet weather? Mines seen plenty of wet weather and it's still on. How do the OE ones attach to the car then? Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I just fitted a Powerful UK spoiler to mine. No complaints regarding the quality of the part itself. As already said, the fixing bolts are rubbish and rust in seconds (OK, days) and I'll be ordering the stainless steel bolts shortly.

I used the sticky pads and brackets as supplied, but the body shop guy also blobbed a dollop of windscreen sealant in the centre gap of the sticky pad, its going nowhere now.
