Ed, there's a real easy way around this ..... just fit earlier model lamps. Laughing

Wouldn't be without mine, oh and the lights aren't hard to clean. Wink FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

England 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black

My first freelander had light guards front and rear which looked good, but now with newer lights you can not get guards to fit. Perhaps world wide they did not sell in numbers for LR to design new ones ?.. 2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps. Body door side moulding and steps.

Gone and fondly remembered
2012 XS (2013 up-grade LED lights front & rear)
2007 hse (2011 facelift)

Correct they were so popular for the early FL1 and the facelifted FL1. Even now its a case of count the cars which dont have them fitted. The lamp guard sales for the Fl2 were that poor that JLR did not bother to redesign them! Personally I feel the majority of the new customers the grown up car attracted prefered the minimalistic look Rolling Eyes MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Thing is, when was the last time you saw a cracked or broken FL2 Headlight, now we no longer have glass Headlights and we have the plastic Headlight, it doesn't crack unless under severe impact, the only purpose the lamp guards have is cosmetic, if you want to make it look tough, no longer serves any protection. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
