2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey

New Fuel Tank - Can hear something moving about in it

Hi Folk
Having the fuel tank replaced on the car tomorrow, just checking that the replacement tank with the transfer pump and sender unit in place. When I lifted the tank I could hear something moving about in the tank. Am I right in saying that the transfer pump hangs from the top opening, and if relatively free to move on the tubes connecting it to the external part of the tank connectors.
Hope that make sense.

That’ll be the float for the fuel gauge probably. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
