Parking sensors

Hi,

I have an issue on one or several parking sensor(s) on my freelander 2.

# Land Rover Freelander 2 (21/12/2009)
# L359 (SALFA2DB4AH175166)

How can I identify which one is faulty ?

Is there a scan tool you recommend ?

Brest regards,
S

or,

ignition on select reverse then listen to each sensor your wanting a faint clicking/ticking noise
if you find any not clicking try swapping for one that is working to see if its the sensor or wiring ?

if you have access to an IID you can plug that in and it could show each working and the distance for each sensor
(mates IID worked on my 2013)

Thumbs Up .
my first ever FL2 and I did keep it longer than most other cars!
But its now gone way up Norf

Thanks to both of you for your fast answer Very Happy

After investigation:

-As the parking sensor electronics was beeping continuously
(A faulty sensor makes the led of the parking assistance Blink)

I decided to check all sensors by recording the sound of the sensors with my smartphone and listen the "tick"
=> all where functional.

- I dismounted the rear right sensor by hand (No tools needed) / cleaned it and re-fitted it correctly.

=> All is now working fine !

Thanks again for you help.
