Intermittent slight misfire finally traced

Been having a problem last few months when running up to app 5o mph especially if steady say at 30 mph feels it 'missing'
Car was taken into Land Rover Liverpool 2 weeks- could not find fault, got it back and still a problem
Into Dealer again - the 'occasional' misfire now defined as new EGR valve which now fitted but when started then gave a error message saying fault on Turbo !!! so new turbo on order
In fairness cannot fault Dealer - kept in touch throughout but so glad in warranty - 20 months old , 30k miles and EGR + Turbo replaced 2011 XS,Sumatra Black, GONE MARCH 2014- RR Evoque Prestige 5 door ,MY 2014,Loire Blue, Silver Roof, Panoramic roof.

Good to hear you've got a diagnosis and it's being sorted. My warranty would be expiring in September but I haggled an extra year in the deal so it now expires Sept 2014. I know the LR warranty isn't exactly cheap, but at least it gives you peace of mind and a LR or RR replacement car while yours is being sorted. The big decision whether to pay for further peace of mind will be taken this time next year ! _________________

Been having similar issue on my manual car, slight misfire on light accel and steady speed especially at around 1400rpm most noticeable in 6th gear and only when ambient temperature at 15deg c or above. Initially suspected as sticking EGR valve, dealer found small split in turbo to intercooler hose, replaced hose, seems OK now. Big thumbs up to Marshalls of MeltonMowbray for diagnosis and fix in same day.
