In car camera RH1 and MI-Witness picture comparison

I hope this can help someone, I have been unable to work out how to capture video yet !

I should add the MI-Witness lead is not as long as the roadhawk and i would suspect you may need to be inventive in extending the lead for a Landrover.
By the time i ran the lead along the roof lining, down the door pillar, down the door channel and under the glove box to the centre consul and into the cig socket there was no spare lead ! & that was on the little toyota !

£265.00 including package & posting. I haven't run it on battery as I have wired in and just hidden the wiring. The MI witness does have a battery as you can remove from its holder and take snaps or video

This is from a Blackvue500, although quality was set at 720 not 1080.

The photos look good...but can't read the number plates of nearby cars on any of these photos - which I guess is the basic test you want a car camera to pass. FL2 2011 SD4 XS in Galway Green

That's pretty standard for car cams - they have wide angle lenses in order to capture what's going on around them, but the consequence of that is that number plates need to be close before they're visible.

I can read them ok when viewing my own recordings via the PC, using the supplied software, you have the facility to zoom in on any area of a paused recoding. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Yes, the car number plates are clearly visible on the software, don't forget that the image on the forum is a screen shot that is converted to jpeg and compressed, this loses quite a bit of quality.
