Vinyl Wrapping - Carbon vs Gloss

Evening all,

Off to see a local vinyl wrapping place tomorrow to get a few things priced both interior and exterior.

My question is.....on the Santorini Black Edition would carbon fibre mirror covers, spoiler and rear end chrome strip look too tacky?! Embarassed then continuing the theme within where appropriate?

Other option is a pure, very deep, gloss black........I'm torn to be honest. It's very high quality vinyl and their workmanship is brilliant. Definitely having the rear chrome strip 'blacked', the other bits got added on!

Just thought id throw it out there!! 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto

Chap on the d3 did a wrap on his in Matt black ( I think) it looked mean he did the whole black thang, wheels, paint, trim the whole shebang, in black looked mint.

Outside yes, inside for me just don't do it. And defo not carbon that just shouts chav.

IMHO. Of course. My11 freelander 2, xs, Manual, 18" hse sparkles, sidesteps, privacy, zermatt silver metallic, almond nutmeg alacantra, twin electric towbar

Sorry mate......it's the only part of the car I'm not sold on!! I'll probably get the powerful uk gloss mirror caps for longevity rather than vinyling. For some reason I've got the old shape mirrors though. 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto

How strange, the old mirrors were discontinued in 2010. Confused

That's what I thought but looking at the comparison photo on Powerful, I've got old ones based on the shape. 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto

There's an old thread on here where the exterior plastic panels were wrapped, food for thought?
