Exhaust pipe tip (what size is needed)

Had a look on the net for the inlet size on the fl2 for a new exhaust tip - but kept seeing different sizes
Does anyone know what inlet size is needed??? For a new tip

Are you asking the right question, I think if your after an aftermarket chrome tailpipe you need the external diameter?
They tend to clamp on the outside of the pipe and in most cases the end of the pipe needs chopping off or it looks terrible.

No leave it on, it may just be that people are overlooking the title?
Is it an aftermarket chrome pipe you are looking for?

Yes, they are a fortune, I missed one a few months back on ebay for £35 BIK, gutted when I missed it.
Most, if not all, aftermarket ones clamp on the outside of the pipe, it is better to cut the pipe short and then fir as it puts the piece closer to the bumper, otherwise it looks daft unless you have the bodykit fitted, there will be some pics on here somewhere.
I keep looking, it really needs something Thumbs Up

Sorry I never got back to ya sooner taz
Got it from eBay - newly listed item, grabbed it within the first 5 mins Thumbs Up

I'm picking up my facelift bumper tomorrow from the spray shop, ended up getting the surround color matched with the car (stornoway grey) popped in the other day to get some photos of it in the booth
Looks nice with the surround in stornoway Very Happy

I'll make a post up with a nut by nut step by step for removing the old one and fitting the new along with a few photo shots of the reverse side of the old bumper to show members how the grill can be removed to fit the HST ones Wink
