2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Rimini Red
Tyre arrangement

Forgive me for asking what maybe a silly question but I have an issue that troubles me

I had 4 brand new tyres last october and one of the rear ones has had to be replaced due to nail in tyre side wall

I presently have the spare on wiith what was all new tread and now have a new trye to match.

My thought was to put the 2 newest tyres on the front axle which is the more active one.

ANy thoughts appreciated 09 Plate Rimini Red Freelander 2 HSE with Roofrails, Side Mouldings, Sidetubes and Privacy Glass

Personally I'd put the new ones on the back (understeer 'better' than oversteer), but it doesn't matter that much.

It doesn't really matter as far as the cars concerned, DSC will do it's best to help counteract any oversteer/understeer that may be forced on it, your choice really and as long as all four has decent tread then put them where you like on the same axle.
