More Seat Mods.

Whilst the seat base was being replaced a few weeks back, the side panel of the seat was bugging me as over the years, a few marks have appeared, and I wanted to clean it up.

So another part from LR ordered and fitted!

I still can't beleive how cheap a lot of parts are for LR cars!!

New Part for the seat.

Then strip off the old one.

Seat controls removed.

Old panel removed.

Old and new.

New panel fitted.

So a nice unmarked seat panel! All for the sum of £18! Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Ordered through my local dealer. I see no point in ordering LR products through 3rd parties. Thumbs Up Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

I was hoping that there would be a modified one that didn't cut into the seat side. I wanted to fit one after the base cover had been replaced. Silver 2009 HSE

What do you mean by "cutting in to the seat side? Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Ah OK, I know what you mean now. This cutting/creasing has nothing to do with the plastic panel. This is caused by the seat bolster getting constantly squashed, when getting in and out.

This is why I changed mine before the leather cover was un-recoverable. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
