No caravan has EVER passed my tractor but I always let normal cars go by me at the first opportunity , something c Censored vaners would do well to learn from.

If a caravaner is driving at the speed limit you have no need to pass Rolling with laughter as such, obviously non towing cars can go faster and if there is a opportunity slow to give the chance for a car(s) to overtake i would always do it and give as much room as possible

Its amazing how many time I have had a small line of cars, all thinking B Censored Caravans and in front of me is a Sunday driver tootling along in his Morris Minor doing 40mph in a 60mph zone Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

yes but you could overtake that car if you didn't have a wobble box fastened to your car, then the traffic would flow freely and the ambulance with the heart for transplanting could get to the childrens hospital before its to late

Truthfully though it is rare for a caravaner to pull over to let the traffic flow, Maybe because they know nobody is going to let them back in again. But at least modern cars tend to have enough power to get you guys to a half decent speed even on mild gradients.

They were call sign details that came up when i searched for the frequency and i just copied them, but I thought it might have been the person you was chatting too.

So I was correct in the HAM RADIO guess then Question

Have you rigged the FL2 up to "HAM on the MOVE" or is that called CB radio Question Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Pity other caravan owners, bus and lorry drivers didn't have your attitude NP. i've been stuck behind bus and lorry drivers for miles many times and a few times with caravans where the driver has gone straight past lay-by's with no intention of pulling over to let the queue past. I appreciate they might be near the speed limit on the straights but uphill and corners really slows down the traffic. Then you get the bus / lorry drivers who overtake another lorry on a hill just as you are approaching to overtake them. Censored Out with the old (2007 SE)
In with the new (2012 Dynamic with everything). Now also gone.

Good on you Npinks.

Keep up the good work.

You have saved me from unneccessary trip (2) to the dealers, that's 120 miles.

No- you can not claim the fuel saving cost!
