Amazing result. Wonder what the cost of the detailing would be ?
Bit more expensive than the Albanian jet wash mafia at Tescos car park I would guess Laughing _________________

I have looked just to be nosey and can't see the costs, but that guy is a miracle worker.
Bit too far for me to travel, and I don't need his services (yet) but I would consider spending some money to get a tired car looking that good every few years.

Proper job !

Off Topic

I was followed last sunday by a brand new orange Mclaren MP4 12 C (as seen on the East Yorkshire Detailing website I just viewed). Unfortunately for him after initially tail gating me he soon backed off as my Wintrac 4s were showering him with wet mud as I had just come out of the forest. Very Happy _________________

Thanks Nick.

Actually much cheaper than I expected, and its worth £120 every spring to keep a car exterior top notch.

You would get your money back if you went for the top service just before selling your car as well. It's a no brainer.

Wonder if theres a detailer of that quality in Sussex ? _________________

it depends on how fussy you are personally i wouldn't pay it unless i had a luxury car ie aston etc the results are great but youll probably find it'll only look good for one day lol When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car

I disagree, why only do it for a luxury car, any car can be ones pride and joy and nothing wrong with taking pride in your car,

Going from a swirls and scratched mess to a freshly polished gleaming bright gives your old car a new Lease of life

lol:

There was something on Fifth Gear last night about a guy that did detailing (spit and polish) he charged £5000 and it took him 2 days to do the car and recommended it was done every 3 to 6 months to keep it in tip top condition.
Bargain Rolling Eyes
If he can earn £5000 for 2 days work thats £912000 a year, almost temped to start a mobile cleaning business up myself at that.

once you've done all that work, you could try a couple of layers of this, by no means the most expensive, but still 99.9% wouldn't buy it Shocked Shocked Shocked

To be honest I've gone away from using wax's and am now using a paint sealant, gives a better finish IMHO

Paint sealent are easier and some last loads longer than wax and that's why I go that way nowadays

I personally don't buy in to the £500+ wax are any better than a £30 ones, they might be x% glossier under a gloss-o-meter and bead a tiny bit better, but not £470 better Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
