One problem fixed, another 3 caused!

Took the FL2 into Copley Landrover today as I had an intermittent fault with the radio and sat nav screen flicking on and off every 4 seconds. So they performed a software update. Radio and sat nav problem fixed but now my lights are always on when on auto and my front two windows will not self close with the usual flick! Great! Anyone else experienced this?

Copley aren't that well thought of. Parts department good, but service not fantastic. Wouldn't surprise me if they've messed up somehow.

Front windows just need resetting, hold the button to fully close them and keep holding it for a few seconds longer and you'll hear a dull click, the auto close function will work then, repeat on each window

The auto lights can come on with a low setting sun, but check sensor is clean, and see how it is tomorrow (sensor near rear view mirror visible from out side) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Thanks NPinks... I didn't know that but surely they should have told me that? I even called them back and the service receptionist didn't tell me that either! Great! The lights were on in full sunshine in Leeds today. I kept trying them but still the same! I'm out if warranty in just over 4 weeks and am now nervous things will start going wrong! I've had a couple of 'reduced engine performance' messages on start up but if I turn the engine off then restart the message doesn't reappear!

Just a thought. If I cover the sensor on the windscreen does that mean the lights will be on all the time the engine is running? Ralph

Just been out and done the window thing but I didn't get the dull click and nothing has unfortunately changed! Big Cry The sensor is fine as was working perfectly well before I took it into Copley this morning!

Does anyone know of a decent dealer for servicing in West Yorks?

Why not try a hard reset first, disconnect battery, touch contacts together.
You never know, it could reset them.

I don't disagree with that but I wouldn't have a clue how to do much under the bonnet stuff!

I know I'm bloody annoyed with Coley Landrover though!

I got a towbar fitted last week and it came out the garage with the one flick window shut not working.

To reset, open window full down and release the switch, close the window fully and release but within one second hold it back again in the closed position for a couple of seconds. You do hear a small click and it'll work again. The procedure is in the manual.

For the lights to turn off from all time running lights on auto, you'll need to take it back to the garage to reset back to sensor to pick up lack of light. They should do this for free if it was set like that before. Mine run all day on auto too but I don't mind that.
