How clean is your car?

If you are too busy and/or too lazy to bother cleaning your car yourself, I highly recommend these guys: http://www.howclean.net/

The guy who cleaned my motor is the franchise owner and I asked him to check this website and contact Martin to discuss sponsoring the site. I have used them many times and today my car was absolutely filthy inside and out so opted for the silver valet. He knocked me a tenner off the usual price and threw in a bit of machine polishing (which isn't normally included) just to get rid of some scratches on the nearside. The whole car is gleaming inside and out now.

This is the silver valet: http://www.howclean.net/car-valeting/alfre...rvalet.htm

Here's just a few quick photos I got before I had to dash out in the restored pride and joy!:

Mine was filthy but it had just been at a workshop getting the door fixed. Looks they have valeted it, it's spotless inside and out.

As a guide a Gold Valet usually takes about 2 hours 30mins, on an average size car, in average condition.

In the FAQ's, they don't mention the time on a 'Silver'

I will be getting mine done with 'someone' this Spring, my lazy washing has put swirls all over the paintwork and I can't be arsed to do it myself.

To be honest I was busy in the house while he worked on it but he must have clocked up 2 hours with the machine polishing. Would have been less without that of course but the majority of the muck on the inside was on the rubber mats which were simply taken out and washed off. Much more hassle with carpet mats. 60 plate SD4 XS, Stornoway Grey, Arm rest pack

The Gold........

[[[[The works. The next best thing to a new car. If its showroom condition you're after, this one is for you.
Hand Wash & Leather
Wheel Arches Jet Washed and Dressed
Full Exterior Hand Polish
Interior & Exterior Glass Polished
Interior Trim Cleaned & Treated
Full Interior & Upholstery Vacuum
Full Interior & Upholstery Shampoo
Leather Seats Cleaned & Conditioned (if Applicable)
Clean & Condition Exterior Plastics
Alloy Wheels/Trims Cleaned
Clean & Dress Tyres
Tar and Road Deposits Removed from Sills and Lower Doors
Clean & Polish Door Shuts
Empty & Clean Ashtrays
Magic Tree Air Freshener]]]]]

I'm guessing if they do that in 2.5 Hours ish there is more than one operative as on a Freelander size car I would be looking at a minimum of 4.5 Hours & that is depentant on how dirty it is. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Like such? Had it washed after fitting stone guards and painting the rearmost silencer in heat-resistant black.
