Does the handbrake need to be on?

Mine's a manual Taz but if I'm honest I can't remember if it was on or not after the stall. I tried a long press and a short one but the warning lights didn't go on or off. The only thing I could do was remove the fob. _________________

Stall recovery must be a recent addition - there's no mention as far as I can see in my manual, and I'm pretty sure mine needs a button press to re-start (although I don't stall it often enough to be certain ) |

In my previous manual FL2 (MY10), it caught me out when I stalled. I immediately pushed the clutch in but pressed the start button as well rather than leaving it to do it's own thing. |

I did the same thing with mine when I stalled when I first got it. Instinctivly went for the button just as it turned over only for me to turn the engine off! Mrs said calmly what the are you playing at!! Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

I could be wrong but Im sure when my 07 stalls I need toremove the key and re-insert it before it'll fire up again |

How do you all manage to stall a car? I don't think I've ever done that. |

Stalling the Manual Landrover is the same procedure as when the engine cuts out in Eco mode. Simply press the clutch and it'll restart the engine. |
