2014 Calendar

I know this may seem a little previous but more pictures are needed if we are to get a Calendar produced for 2014.
If we start getting pictures now, we stand a good chance of getting a Freel2 calendar into print late next year.

I have spoken to other site members and have come up with an idea, if we base the pictures on the seasons we should be able to get enough decent pictures together, with a realistic timescale to take them, starting now with WINTER
Doing it in this format should also allow those in other parts of the world to post pictures without exclusion.

The usual entry requirements will apply as shown below, these may be amended nearer the deadline.

Please add some information about location, event, brief story etc which will be added to the calendar page - you will be prompted for this when editing your photos for
Please submit photos of any LR product and 'tag' the photo with each vehicle when you upload.
By submitting entries you agree that the photographs are yours, or you have permission to enter them for the calendar.
You agree that your photograph may be used free of all charges in the production of the 2014 calendar(s).
Your photos must be uploaded without watermarks, added text or other additions. Enhancement of the photo is allowed. Please upload full-resolution images with any numberplates clearly on show. This does not mean that the numberplate has to be in the photo though
If your camera takes widescreen photos, please ensure that there is enough space around the subject to allow the photo to be cropped to A4 ratio (~1.414:1)
VERY IMPORTANT: Please ensure that you upload only large resolution (at least 5 Megapixels, 2 Megabyte file size) images as these will be required for high quality printing. This means NO camera phone/iPhone photos, sorry.

An example of pictures that may make the grade can be seen on the following link, these are the images from Disco4 that are being used to produce their calendar.

The photographs you take can be added to the WINTER photo thread,http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic13947.html
they don't need to be full size, hi res in the thread, these will be required next year when the upload system will be in place, ideally for forum viewing approximately 1000 pixels on the longest side will be sufficient, if you need help with this there are programs available that will resize very quickly and simply, just ask if you need any info.

If anyone has any further suggestions they will, of course, be considered Thumbs Up
