Respray/Driving Lamps

I've bought the Land Rover driving lamp kit (LR004088) from here: -

http://www.the4x4accessorystore.co.uk/Spot.../1166.aspx

The surrounds for the lamps are in the Brunel Silver or whatever they call it these days. i.e. it's the same as the pre facelift boot switch trim.

Anyhow I want to get them sprayed to match the rest of the car so was wondering if anyone could recommend a good body shop in the West Mids that might do them for me.

Cheers,

They are only tiny do it yourself Smile ? When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car

You could try your local land rover dealer, they normally have a recommended body shop that might do a good price...

Are you fitting them yourself? If you have the skils/patience to do that job painting them should be a dodel!

Will be interested to see what you think of them when finished, looks like a lot of hassel / cost to me...

I notice from the link that a dashboard switch is included in the kit. I would be interested to see where this is located on the dash. No blank switch panels that I can think of.

You have to cut a hole in the dash Surprised

If you go on the topix website you can find the installation manual...

Not sure. I think the post 09MY have a slightly different fog light moulding so they may not fit. Have a look at http://lrparts.ru/engl/. You might find out the VIN range on there. Discovery 4 HSE - Aintree Green

United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Santorini Black

I had the kit fitted to my Freelander 2 (10MY) they won't fit 11MY onwards. I had them colour coded & the switch was near the light swith bank via a cut hole in the dash.
They do look very nice colour coded. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.
(Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather.

The pics in Valeteers gallery show these lights quite well and they don't look that bad at all.
