Hopefully some of you more experienced Forum members can help me, a newcomer, with a query.

Several times I have noticed the attached graphic appear on the display of my FL2 SE TD4 Auto. It depicts the front axle with the wheels angled. Apologies for the poor quality – taken with a phonecam in the dark!.

It shows you which way the wheels are pointing it is not enabled in normal mode It is a feature, not a problem

If you are in Deep ruts it is quite possible to apply full lock but still be travelling in a straight ahead direction, as dictated by the rut direction, rather than the wheels. When the ruts end, or become less deep, the car may suddenly find the grip to follow the direction dictated by the front wheels, and this can be a shock to the driver unless you, either, remember that you applied full lock 30 seconds ago or have the Terrain Response in the correct setting, so that you have the graphic you photographed displayed, and you can, perhaps, avoid the tree at the side of the track!!
And only 31.2mpg? Don`t drive faster than your angel can fly!

Wheel direction shows when HDC on and on most (all?) TR settings.

I really like it, It makes me feel that the car knows where it is going a la KITT from knightrider!

I agree with Gambba that it is very strange that LR makes no mention of this anywhere. I wonder what other features are hidden?

I think we should start up another section that only admin can add posts towhich would be mad us, and within each post would be the sort of 'hidden' things etc. that we find. Each post would kind of be a document of sorts containing the info without having to search through long lost posts or newbies asking the question again.

1. Wheel direction symbol when using HDC or TR
2. Low power mode when fuel level is low
3. Tips on PTI bluetooth pairing
4. Replacing your bulbs for LED's (mburton (if he wants) could do a nice write up for all the bulbs including web links and bulb types etc.)
5. Replacing your green LR emblems for black

There are quite a few more that could be added I'm sure....what do you think

Not really if those that have porvided the info in the past simply put it into a word doc or a PM message to martin with the title detailed then all he needs to do is post it and lock it....I think
