Just ordered 3 (2x interior 1 x boot) so should have them fitted in the coming few days

I will have a look at the footwells and then the vanity mirrors, and one day i may get round to the rear and side lights

Cheers everyone for the LED advice given Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Hi npinks,
in general, yes- but they may be a little too small (by 3mm) as the interieur lamps are 42 mm long. Only the boot lamp has a size of 39 mm. But maybe you can bend the copper contact a little to suit your size.

Just got the LED's and installed all three (boot and 2 interior)

like YF i too get a dim glow from the LED i thought this was the capacitors storing energy but they turn off totally if i switch the lights off by the black button, so i presume they must have a tiny bit of charge going through the circuit when driving. (maybe this could be utilized for illuminating the center console in the dark)

I sat in my car full locked for 5 minutes and they still had a dim glow, I shall see in the morning if they are still glowing

I don't think it anything to worry about Thumbs Up

Not looked myself yet, what size are the footwell and mirror vanity lights to replace them too Question

(could change the passenger vanity light to a green LED to make the wife look like GROTBAGS) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Footwell lights

The owners manual website says that the footwell bulbs are w5w

Does that mean this is the correct one from www.ultraleds.co.uk

I just bought myself the led boot light and one for interior light too. while I was on the site I bought a torch too http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/white-leds-meta...-1236.html It has 5 leds as opposed to the 3 leds on my other "walking to the pub torch" also is a inch shorter so should fit in my pocket easier , I will test it tonight .. extra care needed tonight as both the river and field are flooded so I will be walking along the flood bank with deep water on each side of me. If I don't make it back one of you guys can have my clear indicators and leds as Mrs George wont be bothered fitting them when the fl2 arrives.

I have bought a lead for £2 with a 2.5mm jackplug and a 3.5 mm one, This will connect my phone to the aux socket and with a 2gb memory card in the phone it will be my ipod!

The outcome of the MOT was

Quote:
Went for the MOT this morning - took my UltraLEDS invoice stating Xenon white mini light towers just in case I found myself arguing the toss.

Just as well I took the invoice, the tester commented on how much he liked my sidelight and numberplate lights when handing me the MOT certificate so I was able to jot down the UltraLEDS part number on a post it note for him.

So its safe to say we are fine Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I just changed the rear-Numberplate bulbs to white LEDs....looks good at night...

I tried a different source ....a place where they sell LOTS of cheap crap, but a few interesting bits too....Postage was free, but took a week+ to get to me..but change from a £1!
