United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Rimini Red

Hi Nick

I know it - its just off the road between Yeadon Stoops and Cookridge and does as you say overlook the airport.

Over the years it has been abused quite significantly and as a result the counvcl have a seizure order in pace for anyone found to be using it for anything other than parking.

TBH its not a great place to drive - lots of bushes, deep ruts and soft ground. There is a stony climb one site of the site which is quite good but you run the risk of running someone over as you can't see the crest over the Freelies bonnet.

I've had a sneaky drive round there while no one else was around in the past but not since the signs went up.

At you own risk i'spose. Personally I wouldn't make the trip (unless you are calling in McP's for a cup of tea!!)
