HELP - paint removal....!

I just got back home from a drive and there is paint type stuff splattered along the lower passenger side.

I tried the jet wash and it didn't shift it - if i scrape with my nail it moves nd is tacky.

Any ideas on how to remove it...? And it's white stuff on tonga green..

Tar remover, followed by claying might sort it.

If it hasn't dried you could try some white spirit if you think it may be oil based.

I once dropped a can of paint right beside my Passat, splattered right over the bonnet and wing.

White spirit used quickly then immediately washed off with water did the trick, just don't leave it on too long or rub it too hard!

give it a good spray with WD40, leave on for a few minutes, spray more WD40 on a cloth and gently wipe off the paint.

Paraffin - if you can get it in the UK. Removes most deposites and will not damage your paint. I always wax the area afterward.

Thanks guys - i had a quick go with tar remover and white spirit but it didn't seem to do anything....

I was thinking it was either a paint bomb or fresh road marking - but didn't see either on the route - going to drive it in the morning... 2002 Honda VFR800

I got a fair bit of gloss paint off my D3 by leaving some autoglym super resin polish spread over it for 30 mins or so and then cleaning off with a cloth covered in more of the same Thumbs Up
