It is just over a year since I bought my Freelander and exactly one year since I joined this forum. 10,000 miles and several posts later I still enjoy the car immensely and have no intention to change. The forum is informative and entertaining in equal measure, with plenty offering help when asked. I have met only a couple of you but may put that right in time. thought it was more My Freelander section than off topic so i've popped it in here

Like you it's still giving me that 'feel good' feeling, can't remember my past cars doing that. Just over a year for me, in fact 16 months and 21,000 miles later, towed the van well north of Inverness, into Wales, way down south to the 'South Downs ' area and mid Cornwall without a glitch.
Got a few minor scratches on the rear bumper where the dog misses the protective cover and plenty of 'swirl' marks where I'm too lazy to wash it properly
Good banter, good info and good 'events' makes the Forum a bit of a social thing as well
