2nd i phone pairing

Hi

I have paired my iphone 3gs with my car, and been using it for ages successfully.
When I try to pair my missus' iphone (same model) it sees the phone but won't pair with it.

Am I doing anything wrong? I assume it should be able to pair more than one iphone?

Thanks

Try turning your phone off. IIRC it will try and pair with the first device in its list so if your is switched on it won't pair, at least thats what I have found with mine anyway Confused ______________________

Do both phones have the same "name" if they are the same model? If so try changing one or both and then re-pairing them.

Delete the old phone on the list, or change the name on current iphone

I'll try renaming.

Ideally as we both drive the car I would like it to pick up whichever phone is in the car at the time and if we are both there, to be able to choose the phone from the list. Confused

It will always pair with the last phone connected first. If it is not pairing, press the phone button and select the phone from the list Thumbs Up Freelander 2 TD4 Auto, SE, Narvik Black, Alpaca full leather, Rear Headrest Entertainment System, 6 CD, 18 HSE Wheels, Privicy tints

I can only get it to pair with one phone at a time.
Once one phone is paired it won't let me pair another phone, just keeps coming up pairing failed.

I have to delete the first phone entirely from the car, then it will recognise the second phone but is then unable to pair with the first again!!

Help Confused
