pairing with the bluetooth system but wont connect

Hi All
I have a FL2 XS that have the red and green phone switches on the steering wheel, however i am unable to make it work with different brand of phones, Iphone and Android.
the phones can see the Bluetooth and can pair with the system however i can not make it to connect.
does anybody have any ideas of what it may be wrong.
thank you
Big Cry

Not much info to go on, have you been to this site and punched in your phone models?

thanks, yep i have checked the page and my phone is fully compatible according to landrover however it says that pairing is not supported, the phone is a HTC desire (A8181) rather confusing???

I have a Blackberry and the girlfriend has a Samsung which runs Android. Both phones have been paired with the system and we can swap between the two no problem.

I think I read somewhere that you need to set the Bluetooth permissions on the phone to authorise and remember the LR connection. Maybe this could be the issue?

I also have an HTC Desire but the 'S' model, mine also said pairing not supported via the car headset but paired via the phone no problem.
Mine has never dropped a connection but I am running v2.3.5 whereas you may be still on v2.1.0, perhaps an update to the phone is available?

It's true what 'IDHLR' says, pairing can be no problem but the HTC requires permission once only for a connection within your settings.
