Hey Taz - don't you know you have to obtain a transit permit (very expensive if you're in Stornoway Grey - cheapest if in Ipanema Sand ) from me to parade across my parish. The most expensive transit permit is reserved for any white rose wastrel in any vehicle - regardless of colour

Not all Stornaway owners are friendly, to be warned

Met up with a forum member at Blythe Services last Saturday, easy to identify as he has a red FL2 and forum sticker in window, So I pull into the services, next to said Freelander and notice in front there is Stornaway grey freelander with 2 blokes stood next to it chatting,

So I obviously think fellow owners are conversing, not knowing what Bob looks like I walk towards them and say "Hi are you Bob"? Just to be looked at very strangely I then head back to my car to call Bob who was inside grabbing a coffee

Ah Mr Pinks - that's because your salutation to them caused offence.

As they can be a bit dull and tetchy they must be addressed correctly - tis Stornoway not Stornaway

To be fair I can vouch for this... In our Stornoway FL the last FL I came face to face with ended up in court with me, as he decided that his side ofthe raod wasn't good enough so ploughed into the front of me
