So I have changed the method of opening the car to unlock all the doors with one press (see hand book) as I have had my wife lock keys in the boot in the past by just using the boot unlock and putting the keys down while putting shopping in :

That's a good point, I would not have thought about that possibility .... Thanks ....

SRS means supplementary restraint system i.e. the airbags, seat belt tensioners etc.

I guess SRS shows on the info display while they are being checked upon start-up - but you should probably check with your dealer to ensure it's just an info message.

I can't remember if I get this message upon start-up.............

the times I've seen it, it wasn't in the info display, but instead of the numbers of the trip recorder Confused

I have checked my unlock pattern - 1 press unlocks driver door only, 2 unlocks all doors and boot.

I have not had any software updates and picked up car new 8 weeks ago.

Seems to be some variations from handbook Shocked

Same here as well. One press unlocks driver's door and fuel filler cap. Car 2 weeks old today.
I prefer this set up - unlock the boot only if necessary by either 2 presses of the button or
use the boot unlock button.
