That will be OK. As long as the overall diameter of the wheel is the same. I think 235 65 17 is correct. I would nip out and look at mine, but it is p--- rain! 2013 RR Evoque Pure Tech

The size that you've quoted is right, so there's no need to get wet Thumbs Up

As the wheel rim size gets bigger this is compensated buy the tyre wall size getting smaller. The overall diameter will be the same so theres no problem.

Thank you for answering my question,as they are the same size does that mean that I can use one of my 16 inch wheels as a spare.

Yep but the only thing you are not aloud to do is mix cross ply tyres with radials on the same axle Thumbs Up

Yep, its perfectly alright, I've just done it a couple of weekends ago.
If you look at my gallery you'll see an album called New wheels (obviously) and it has before and after shots.
Hope this helps.

Go for it! Thumbs Up

Rolling with laughter

Love it! Yeah we love the change and I feel that braking might be improved in an emergency with the extra tyre width on the road.

The orange light is on my Defender hidden behind, yes there are two lights on the garage front, and sadly, yes there is a small dent on the rear door/wheel arch courtesy of the other half and the car park at her new work premises Big Cry
