Well I fitted a set of side tubes today, it took about an hour and a half for the first side and about 30 minutes for the second, I found the worst bit was removing those six retaining screws/clips from each side and then finding where I'd left my socket set, before and after pics in my gallery, I was going to take some as I was going along but got carried away.

Rivnuts were a piece of cake, I found a ratchet rivnut gun lying around at work in the r&d department and those little round plastic thingies kept popping out and rolling under the car but got them back eventually.

Rivnuts were quite simple even without the proper Rivnut Setter. Got to agree with CG on the "Tricky Little Suckers" probably the most time consuming part, also with vectis on the time one and half hours for the first then 30 mins for the second. Fitted a lot easier than I was led to believe glad I didn't pay for it to be done. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

got the replacement bars fitted this evening, replacing the brackets rivnut that had popped out was simple

Firstly i found my mobile, and went to its address book and call my good friend Richard the RAC man, borrowed his rivnut tool and bolted in the new nut Very Happy Nice and secure it was to as i thought with it been pulled out it would have maybe enlarged the hole

Well new bars all sorted and the others just need a coat of paint on the scrapes and they be ready for Keilder forrest Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

piece of piece to fit, Picked up some genuine Land Rover ones on fleabay for under £80, couple of hours to fit, Rivet nuts a bit of a bas Censored to fit. I drilled a bit of steel bar put this between the bolt head and the rivnut held it firm against the car and just tightened it, A few turns and it tightened just fine. Very Happy
