England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Tonga Green
debadging the bonnet!!!

I was considering de-badgeing the letter from the fron tof the bonnet.

Why? sixk of the difficulty in cleaning around the letters - they just collect all dirt and flies that they hit.

My thought though is that as it's a 2007 vehicle in Tonga Green (very dark) - what is the likelihood of the paintwork under the lettering being too different due to fading....? 2002 Honda VFR800

More than likely you will find a proper colour under the letters, like 'Lago Grey'. Laughing

Use Megs APC and a horsehair brush and then polish the surrounding area, using a cotton bud for around the letters

If you insist on making your car look Censored then you more than likely need to polish the bonnet and de-badged area to bring back the colour (sorry i don't like the deBadged look Laughing )

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green

Be much better wouldnt it if all the letters were on little hinges so you could open them to wash their behinds.
Or stick on magnetic ones so you could move them around to show your frame of mind, FREELOADER or HANGOVER
Shocked
